    Adult Leaders

 

There are two types of adult leaders in Bangladesh Scouts such as Warranted and Non-warranted leader.

Those who are get training & involved directly with Scout Group after duly appointed by Regional Headquarters as Cub/Scout/Rover Leader And other warranted Scouter such as all shorts of Commissioners, Deputy/Assistant Commissioners are warranted leaders.

In addition, there are some members those who are work without warrant such as all levels President/s, Vice President/s, Treasurer/s EC members are Non-warranted members.

 

Four Stage Training scheme for Unit Leader

 

1.     Unit Leader Basic Course - 8 days residential course organized by regional/district scouts.

2.     At least six months of in-service training in any unit.

3. Unit Leader Advance Course - 8 days residential course organized by National/regional headquarters.

4. At least twelve months in-service training in any unit.


Then a unit leader can apply for WOOD BADGE (section wise). WOOD BADGE, the highest prestigious rank issued by National Headquarters.

 

Other Courses for Adult Leaders

 

Commissioners Course:

Scout Leader

Uniform

 
There are Commissioners Course for Upzilla Commissioner, Upzilla Assistant Commissioners, District Commissioner, District Assistant Commissioners. These courses are organized by Regional Headquarters as per N.H.Q.'s procedures.

 

Secretarial Courses:

There are Secretarial Courses for Upzilla & District Secretaries. These courses are also organized by R.H.Q.

 

District/Upzila Leader Courses:

There are District Cub/Scout/Rover Leader Courses, Upzilla Cub/Scout Leader Courses. These courses are organized by R.H.Q.

 

National & Regional Training Team

 

Assistant Leader Trainer:

Unit Leader who are interested to be a Trainer has to attend Course for Assistant Leader Trainer(C.A.L.T.) formerly known as National Trainers Course(N.T.C.) organized by National Headquarters. One can attend this course at least two years after earning Wood Badge.

Then as per N.H.Q.'s requirements s/he can apply for ALT.  N.H.Q. issued Charter for ALT for three years, it is renewable.

These A.L.T.'s are the members of Regional Training Team.

 

Leader Trainer:

A minimum service of 2 years as ALT one can be nominated for Course for Leader Trainer (C.L.T.) organized by N.H.Q with direction of APR Scout HQ, formerly known as International Training the Team Course (I.T.T.C.).

Then N.H.Q. issue the charter for Leader Trainer (LT) for three years after fulfill its requirement.


These L.T.'s are the members of National Training Team.
